Welcome
Welcome to the new website of the San Diego Minis Club!
If you are just checking us out, you should know that we are a very low key club with no dues and no restrictions on being a member. We resurrected the club about 10 years ago and now are a great mix of classic and BMW Minis.
A breakfast meeting is held on the first Sunday of each month at various locations so we can move it around San Diego county and possibly in your neighborhood! We have plenty of events throughout the year such as our Casino Charity Run, our Holiday Run and Party and our Dinner and a Drive-In night. Check out the calendar for the next event near you!
We always welcome new ideas on how to make this a more enjoyable group. You are encouraged to join the forum and chime in!
We Have a Gallery!
Hi folks,

Website Functionality
Hi folks,
We're just setting things up right now, but if you'd like to register and see what you have access to, that is fine. The site may have intermittent functionality as I implement various changes. Feel free to provide feedback.
April Breakfast Meeting and Combined Run with MOALA
SDMinis Breakfast followed by
MOALA and SDMinis Combined Run
Sunday APRIL 1
Join us at Mariachi's Restaurant 393 N Escondido Blvd Escondido which is in the Movie Theater Center next to Smart and Final on Sunday, April 1 at 9am. We'll head north around 10:30 to meet up with MOALA in Old Town Temecula.
The MOALA (Mini Owners of America Los Angeles) club is starting their portion of the run at 9am in the Ortega Business Center just East of the 5 freeway on Ortega Highway (Route 74). From the 5 freeway, exit Ortega Highway (Route 74), and go east. Make a right at the first light on Rancho Viejo Rd. then an immediate left into the parking lot - gather in the corner lot closest to the intersection. For the early risers, breakfast can be had at the Bravo Burger in the same parking lot.
MOALA has been contacted by a film company doing a piece on the history of the Mini and they want to meet and run with the Classics. A film crew will be at the start to talk to folks about their classic cars so try to arrive as close to 9 am as possible. There will be a brief drivers meeting just before a 10am departure with instructions in hand for the route to Temecula. The run to Temecula will accommodate the film crew with whatever stops they need for filming etc along the way.
Lunch is set for 12-1 at the Gambling Cowboy in Old Town Temecula. MOALA has worked out a plan with the owner to put together a 5-6 item menu that will keep the cost to a fixed amount of $15 including a soft drink, tax and gratuity just like we did the last time. Old town Temecula is also a fun place to walk and shop so make it a family event!
We'll then have an afternoon drive through some more fun roads through Fallbrook before ending in Oceanside mid afternoon. The goal being to allow folks to head north or south from Oceanside and be home by dinner time.
All car owners (classic or BMW) from both clubs are welcome to join up at either the MOALA or SDMinis starts or at the lunch in Temecula. The hills are beautiful and green and the weather is not too hot. There is no excuse for not getting your Mini/MINI out for this great Club run. These are some great folks and some great roads - hope YOU can join us!
