The South Dakota Miniature Equine Club members are miniature horse
enthusiasts from Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota & Wyoming.
Membership continues to grow as more people find what a wonderful addition Miniature Horses are to their lives.

Part of SDMEC’s purpose is to promote the miniature
horse. By attending the South Dakota Horse Expo, members have the
opportunity to showcase Miniature Horses to prospective buyers and
show them just what these wonderful little guys can do! The club
also offers All Star Awards, Youth and Adult High Point awards,
sponsors a club Futurity program, a Gelding Jackpot incentive program
and other events.Club meetings are held 3 times a year. Officers are elected
at the annual meeting held the first Sunday of November each year. All members are
encouraged to attend meetings and volunteer their time and talents. Club activities
have included social get togethers, clinics, shows, fairs and expos. |
