We’ll gather at the 76/15 Park and Ride, at 8:30 am, and roll out after a Driver’s Meeting. We will run to Borrego Springs, including that lovely drive down the long, twisty road into the desert, and then we will tour the many metal sculptures scattered around the town, with photo opportunities at some of them. It is possible that the wildflowers will still be blooming, though perhaps after their peak. We will enjoy our own picnic lunches, either parked around Christmas Circle, or somewhere that we can all park together. (if the wildflowers are still spectacular, the middle of town gets really busy)
Bring water, sunscreen, hats, chairs, your picnic, and radios if you have them. Even in March, it can get hot! Have your tank and tummy full when we meet in the morning.
It’s a great run, organized by Andy Russell, and we may have multiple clubs attending.
