Hey! The MINI isn't the only form of transport with that go-kart feel - an actual go-kart has it, too!

MINI enthusiast and club member Loretta has invited us out, on behalf of the San Diego Alfa Owners Club, to go Go-Kart Racing at K-1 Speed.

The cost will be $80 which will include a trial /practice race and one timed race. A light lunch of pizza and a drink is included. The group has to make a 50% down payment in advance so if you are interested, you'll need to register by sending a check to Dan Milhone; 1807 Grandview St; Oceanside, CA, 92054. This is a fun-filled, family friendly event. There is no lower (or upper!) age limit, but you must be 48" tall or taller to race.
